Making Strides for Breast Cancer Awareness
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Genesis of Smithtown is committed to supporting this vital cause. Our staff has been wearing pink in solidarity with those battling breast cancer.
This month, we proudly sponsored and attended the LI Pink Rocks Broadway event at the Paramount in Huntington, NY, showing our dedication to raising awareness.
We are partnering with Pink Aid, the only national non-profit organization that provides compassionate support and urgent financial assistance to breast cancer patients. They cover essential expenses like transportation to treatment, groceries, and other basic needs.
There are many ways to support Pink Aid: consider donating, participating in their collaborative events such as the Stop and Shop Community Bag Program in Westport, or supporting the Jericho Wholesale and Shell “POWER UP for Pink Aid.” Plus, for every purchase of DR Neon Pink guitar strings from DR Strings, a portion of the proceeds goes to Pink Aid.
Together, we can raise awareness and support those affected by breast cancer this October. Join us in making a difference!
